Archbishop Mitty won its seventh straight Central Coast Section title, fourth in Division I, in defeating St. Ignatius 65-37.
The win keeps Mitty undefeated with a 27-0 record.
Rometra Craig, a junior, led the Monarchs with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Kerri Nakamoto 11 points.
The game was never close as Mitty led 19-11 after the first quarter, and never let up. Mitty’s defense forced 23 St. Ignatius turnovers.
Jessica Libien scored 16 points to lead St. Ignatius (21-5).
