Bobby Camany finished with 17 points, including 15 in the first half to lead Palma High School to a 58-37 win over Pacific Grove in the Central Coast Section Division IV Boys’ title game.
All 15 of Camany’s first half points came on three-pointers. He sank four three-pointers in the first quarter, including to beat the buzzer.
Camany’s backcourt teammate, Jake Diaz, scored 15 points. Center Chris Speier scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
With the win, Palma (22-5) won its fifth section title.
Brandon Francis led Pacific Grove (20-7) with 11 points.
