Kristen Iwanaga, bound for the University of California, led a balanced attack with 16 points as Archbishop Mitty defeated Aptos 70-55 to win the Girls Central Coast Section Division I title.  Its the ninth straight CCS title the Monarchs have won, sixth straight in Division I, 14th in last 15 years, and 15th overall. Mitty has won 25 straight CCS playoff games.  Mary Eileen Gallagher 14 points for Mitty, with Cecilia Russell-Nava getting 13 and Jenna Green finishing with 12.  Aptos stayed close to Mitty for most of the first half. But midway through the second quarter, Mitty went on a 15-3 to put the game out of reach. The Mariners pulled to within seven to begin the fourth quarter, but could get no closer.  Brianna Itinga led the Mariners with 15 points and 17 rebounds. Jenna Wat added 12 points and Jamie McCabe tallied 11 points.
