League Classification Procedure
The following procedure will be used to objectively classify the CCS Football Leagues following the conclusion of each season:
  • Each team coach shall submit a  CCS Playoff SEASON SUMMARY SHEET (even if you did not qualify for CCS playoffs, please complete this sheet) to his League Rep. after the team's last game.
  • The League Rep. shall submit the League's packet of CCS Playoff SEASON SUMMARY SHEETS to the Classification Committee at the CCS Football Evaluation Meeting in December.
  • The Classification Committee will use the following steps to determine the Leagues' classifications:
    1.    Assign points to each game based on the Classification Index Chart and CCS Play-off Bonus
            Points
    (below);
    2.    Add total Index points... divide by the number of games played to determine team's average
            index
    ;
    3.    Average all the team average indices in the League to find the League's Average.
    4.    League Average for the last two (2) years will be used to find the League Classification
            Index
    .
Leagues with a League Classification Index of 1.800 or more will be classified as "A" Leagues.
Leagues with a League Classification Index of less than 1.800, but not less than 1.500 will be classified as "B" Leagues.
Leagues with a League Classification Index of less than 1.500 will be classified as "C" Leagues.
